– closed system
Closed de-ironing
Through ion exchange, the iron, manganese and calcium present in the water are attracted to the filter material. The filter is fully automatically flushed by a saline solution. Major advantage of the closed de-icing plant is the use of only 1 pump so less energy consumption.
– open system
Open de-icing
Spring water is atomized under pressure by nozzles into the de-ironing vessel. As a result, the iron and manganese present in the water comes into ample contact with oxygen, causing these minerals to oxidize and then be captured by the granules present in the vessel.
